QUALITY - Each of our desks is handmade to order from the finest quality European oak which is sustainable sourced from FSC-certified sawmills. The Oak has been kiln dried to the moisture content of the average household.
FINISH - Once the Oak is machined to a flat surface, it is then sanded to a smooth finish ready for the hardwax oil to be applied. Once the hard wax oil is applied this gives the oak a durable water resistant protection, whilst bringing out all the natural character of the Oak. We have three finishes available as standard but we do have many more available to choose from on request.
LEGS -The working height is approximately 94 Centimeters. The legs are made from hollow box section steel that is welded together creating a robust frame built to last a lifetime.The steel legs are available in two finish options, rustic or black. The rustic has a clear lacquer coat which shows all the welds, heat marks, seams and any marks/imperfections in the steel giving the raw industrial-styled look. The black option is a smooth powder coated finish.

Care Instructions
- Dust Removal:Begin by dusting the furniture with a soft, lint-free cloth or a feather duster. This helps remove loose dirt and debris without scratching the surface.
- Mild Soap Solution:Prepare a mild soap solution by mixing a few drops of mild dish soap with warm water. Avoid using harsh detergents or chemical cleaners, as they can damage the wax / Oil finish.
- Dampen a Cloth:Dampen a soft, clean cloth in the soap solution. Wring out excess water to ensure the cloth is only slightly damp.
- Gentle Wiping: Wipe the furniture gently with the damp cloth. Work in the direction of the wood grain to avoid causing scratches.
- Dry Immediately: Dry the furniture immediately using a dry, clean cloth. Water can damage the wax finish, so it's essential to prevent prolonged exposure.

Welcome to my new drawing room. My Rust and Oak breakfast bar is exactly what I wanted. It looks very nice in its new role as a drawing table.
Hi, the desk itself I ordered is lovely acting as a nice office desk for when I work from home. The only issue was the packaging/delivery. I've attached some photos showing some damage to the (thankfully) underside of the table and to one of the legs. I suspect the wood damage was just due to bad handling during transportation. I took a chance on accepting the package from the delivery guy who also made a note of the damage as whilst still in the packaging I wasn't really sure whether it was the top or underside that was affected. As it's the bottom it's fine as it won't be seen but I did notice the top had slightly more cardboard/filler protection when unpacking the box than the underside. Also one of the legs had some broken bubble wrap and paint scrapes on either side at the point where it would have been fitted into the cardboard packing box (it was actually two boxes, one slipped inside the another). There was no external box damage so I assume this happened during packaging whilst trying to squeeze it in and not during transportation. Again I accepted it as I can easily repaint over the exposed metal and turned the legs to face inwards where the scratches were. Other than that I'm very pleased with the piece overall which is quality. Regards Ian
Ordering very easy, delivery when expected. Very pleased with table as it fits in perfectly to my new kitchen. Only one niggle ……. I ordered the oiled finish and it seems to mark very easily. Will have to take steps to put another coating on it.
The breakfast bar was well worth the wait. It is of superb quality loved it so much bought a consul table in matching oak. The price is fantastic for the level of quality you get. Would highly recommend purchasing from this company

Love my kitchen bar table , I had to source 2 oak stools from another company as R+O didn’t stock Oak stools they cost twice as much as the bar table but the table easily twice the quality and finish as the hand made stools. Top drawer craftsman ship and finish is so lovely. Well priced and delivered in good time as made to order. You will not be disappointed.
I actually managed to assemble this myself it was that easy! I love it and it’s perfect for my needs. Beautiful wood and very sturdy legs making this a table I will have for years to come. ❤️
