Our solid wood mantle beam is handmade to order in our Yorkshire workshop.

Our solid wood mantle beams are made to order using chunky Canadian pine wood. The pine is kiln-dried to the moisture content of an average household to prevent warping or movement in the wood once installed.

SIZES - The beams are 7cm depth and can be selecting at 10cm, 15cm or 20cm tall / face height. We have many length options available ranging from 60cm to 170cm, but if the size you need is not listed, contact us and we will see if we can help. 

FINISH - The beams are first planed and thicknessed then sanded to a smooth touch finish ready for the wax to be applied. Each table beam is hand waxed with a natural beeswax finish. The application of wax intensifies the grain pattern whilst protecting the pine with a water-resistant finish.

DELIVERY
The firplace beams are usually shipped within 5-7 working days. We send our items with a 1-2 days tracked and signed service, if you wish to receive full tracking notifications please leave your email and contact number.

All Items can be returned within 30 days of receipt, but they must be in their original condition.

Care Instructions

  1. Dust Removal:Begin by dusting the furniture with a soft, lint-free cloth or a feather duster. This helps remove loose dirt and debris without scratching the surface.
  2. Mild Soap Solution:Prepare a mild soap solution by mixing a few drops of mild dish soap with warm water. Avoid using harsh detergents or chemical cleaners, as they can damage the wax / Oil finish.
  3. Dampen a Cloth:Dampen a soft, clean cloth in the soap solution. Wring out excess water to ensure the cloth is only slightly damp.
  4. Gentle Wiping: Wipe the furniture gently with the damp cloth. Work in the direction of the wood grain to avoid causing scratches.
  5. Dry Immediately: Dry the furniture immediately using a dry, clean cloth. Water can damage the wax finish, so it's essential to prevent prolonged exposure.
