Our chunky handcrafted Industrial style desk is made to Order. Multiple Lengths and finishes are available.

The desktop is made from Chunky pine wood that is sourced from environmentally sustainable forests and kiln-dried to the moisture content of the average household. The top is sanded to a smooth touch finish, but we make sure to preserve each piece's rustic characteristics, including splits, knots, marks and unique grain patterns to give a rustic / reclaimed look. Once sanded, a oil finish is then applied to offer protection to the wood and help intensify its character of the wood. 100% Natural wood is used so each wood top can vary slightly in colour depending on how the wood accepts the oil finish.
The working height is approximately 76 Centimeters which is the standard height for a desk. The legs are made from hollow box section steel that is welded together creating a robust frame built to last a lifetime. The steel legs are available in two finish options, rustic or black. The rustic has a clear lacquer coat which shows all the welds, heat marks, seams and any marks/imperfections in the steel giving the raw industrial-styled look. The black option is a smooth powder coated finish. Adjustable feet are fixed to the bottom of the legs eliminating any potential wobble on an uneven floor.

The desk is delivered in a flat pack form. The wood has been marked to position the legs for a simple and easy installation, just screw the 10 screws into position, and all fixings are provided, a screwdriver will be required.

- Dust Removal:Begin by dusting the furniture with a soft, lint-free cloth or a feather duster. This helps remove loose dirt and debris without scratching the surface.
- Mild Soap Solution:Prepare a mild soap solution by mixing a few drops of mild dish soap with warm water. Avoid using harsh detergents or chemical cleaners, as they can damage the wax / Oil finish.
- Dampen a Cloth:Dampen a soft, clean cloth in the soap solution. Wring out excess water to ensure the cloth is only slightly damp.
- Gentle Wiping: Wipe the furniture gently with the damp cloth. Work in the direction of the wood grain to avoid causing scratches.
- Dry Immediately: Dry the furniture immediately using a dry, clean cloth. Water can damage the wax finish, so it's essential to prevent prolonged exposure.

Absolutely love my new desk. Hits all expectations and some. Great workmanship, sturdy as anything perfect size for the space I had. 160cm by 60cm. I love the finish of the wood, little bit of texture giving a natural feel. The colour, Tudor Oak, is a perfect match for the rest of my furniture. I picked the chunky welded legs. Great decision! Really strong looking and with the welds on show fit the 'industrial' tag perfectly. Delivered amazingly quickly with great care by DX Deliveries. Really happy with my new oak desk And screen ledge. First time I’ve made a purchase like this online without seeing the end product but got comfort from all of the positive reviews and it’s more than lived up to expectation. Found it difficult going to other retailers to find a desk that fitted the dimensions I wanted but Rust & Oak allow you to set width and depth so I have lots of room to work but not so big it doesn’t fit in the spare room!! Very happy would definitely recommend.

Lovely table. Quality of the wood is beautiful. One of legs....the finish on it not completed but the other one was perfect. However I wasn't too bothered as just wanted the timber part to look lovely which it does. Seller very helpful when I asked for a different size and also when I queried postage as a day late. And delivery man carried it inside for me as heavy which was appreciated. Looks lovely in my bedroom. Would buy again.

My desk is brilliant, I love it. Well made, great quality, solid, better than I was expecting. Packaged really well. I wouldn’t recommend the delivery company though, it was the third day of going to deliver it, that they actually did, the two previous I got a message to say that they attempted but nobody home, they even left a calling card supposedly, all lies, they didn’t even attempt to deliver those two days, very annoying.

Great quality, sturdy and good looking. Top is just under 4cm thick but still plenty enough to get the job done. Legs are well crafted and stable. Delivery was a bit annoying due to my working hours, but that's no fault of the seller.

The desk is absolutely gorgeous and very sturdy. I went for ‘dark oak’. Was worried it could be too dark but it’s not at all, really happy with the choice!! There was a delay of about a week with delivery which I had to chase the seller about but they responded quickly with an update and all was fine in the end. Highly highly recommend. Also very easy to assemble.
